The invention concerns a support structure, in particular for a wind turbine, comprising a mast (10) having a central axis (24) and a length L; a series of at least three reinforcing members, whereof each reinforcing member comprises a first, a second and a third reinforcing element, and at least one of each said elements of each of the reinforcing members is a compressing element. The first reinforcing element (13) linked to the mast at a first predetermined height h1 and to the two other reinforcing elements at a point of intersection (27). Said first reinforcing element extending at an angle beta , relative to the central axis of the mast, greater than 20 DEG . The second reinforcing element (14) links the point of intersection (27) to an anchoring point so as to form an angle alpha between the first reinforcing element and the second reinforcing element (14). The third reinforcing element extending essentially perpendicularly relative to the central axis of the mast, is fixed to the mast by a first articulation located at a second predetermined height h2. Said second height being less than the first predetermined height. Further, the point of intersection (27) of the three reinforcing elements is formed by a second articulation. |
