CONSTITUTION: This slitter 3 for a master roll of an electrode is provided with a cutting part 32 for cutting a master roll 4 of the electrode of the electric part, a shaping part 35 for smoothing a projection 17 of the cut electrode 41, and electrode cleaning parts 33, 34 for removing fragments 42 adhering to the cut electrode 41, and this cutting method for the master roll of the electrode uses the slitter.
