PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing capable of preventing line entanglement or line breakage of the fishing line due to accumulation of line twisting and further reducing the damage to the fishing line. SOLUTION: This spinning reel for fishing forms a guide part regulating the movement of the fishing line in the direction of a line roller shaft during winding operation into a shape having a larger diameter than that on the side of the other side part of a line roller by >=1 m/m and forms the fishing line contact surface thereof into a smooth flat planar shape on one lateral side of a line roller and composing a fishing line guide part of the line roller of a guide peripheral groove for the fishing line installed in the base part of the guide part and a tilted guide surface formed into a successive large diameter from the guide peripheral groove in the direction of rotation of a rotor for winding the fishing line and guiding the fishing line to the guide peripheral groove in the spinning reel rotatably supporting the line roller equipped with the fishing line guide part on a supporting member mounted on a supporting arm of the rotor interlockingly rotated with a handle.
