<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine having excellent machining positional accuracy and shape accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser beam machine 50, an optical axis positioning device 6 is arranged on the basic optical axis O of laser beams output from a laser beam oscillator 1, and the laser beams output from the laser beam oscillator 1 are positioned in the direction of the plane on a work 9, and the laser beam machine comprises mirrors 10 and 20 capable of deflecting the optical axis of laser beams, and optical axis position detection means (first and second beam splitters 14 and 15 and beam detectors 16 and 17) to detect the position of the optical axis of laser beams.
