PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with the camera shake information about the photographed image and improve the convenience for the user and the managing efficiency of the image files. SOLUTION: This imaging device has a imaging section (201) to change the image taken through an optical system into electric signals, a signal processing circuit (203) to generate image signals from the electric signals from the imaging section (201), a display section (207) to display the image of the image signals generated by the signal processing circuit (203), a motion detector circuit (205) to detect the shake amount at the time of imaging based on the above image signals, and a control section (210) to show the shake amount detected by the motion detector circuit (205) on the display (207) together with the image of the above image signals.
