CREATION METHOD OF ENTANGLED PHOTON PAIR, AND CREATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creation method of photon pairs in which the enhancement of creation efficiency of the entangled photon pairs is made possible. SOLUTION: A crystal of BiB3O6(bismuth triborate; BiBO) is used as a nonlinear optical crystal 102, and the photon of exciting light 101 is made incident on the nonlinear optical crystal 102.
