A system and a method for ordering articles on the Internet are provided to enable a member to buy the articles having a desired design at a desired or the lowest price by making the member select the desired article and the design applied to the article in an article ordering server. An article manager(40a) stores/manages member information, article information classified into each category, and purchase result information of each member. A design manager(40b) stores/manages fonts, designs, images, and colors for inserting the design into the article selected by the article manager. An article/design composer(40c) composes the selected article and design, and adjusts a position and the size for inserting the design. An estimate manager(40d) transmits an estimate by calculating a price according to the selected article and ordered quantity when the design of the ordered article is selected. A point manager(40e) processes purchase when the member approves the transmitted estimate, converts purchase results into points, and manages the points of the member. |
