A method and a system for processing an electronic document(or electronic slip), electronic document(or Electronic Slip) processing terminals therefor and a program recording medium are provided to shorten significantly the finance transaction processing time of a clerk in the window through a slip processing terminal, thereby reducing significantly the waiting time of a customer. A method for processing an electronic document(or electronic slip) comprises the following steps of: allowing a device to scan a predetermined paper document(or paper slip) written by a customer and generate a predetermined document image, and transmits the generated document(or slip) order information allocated to the customer to a server(700); allowing the server to transmit the document(or slip) transmitted from the device to a counter terminal processing a corresponding order; allowing the counter terminal to read a bar code included in the document(or slip) image transmitted from the server and output automatically a business transaction screen corresponding to the read bar code; and allowing the counter terminal to store the document(or slip) image and a transaction result to a predetermined storage medium, or transmits the document(or slip) image and the transaction result to the server(705). |
