<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing form original plate, on which an image can be efficiently formed by laser exposure and which is excellent in print durability, inking properties and on-press developability, and to provide a lithographic printing method employing thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This lithographic printing form original plate has a protective layer including a laminar compound therein and an image recording layer including a polymer containing constitutional formulae (I) and (II) as repeating units, wherein R<SP>11</SP>and R<SP>12</SP>represent respectively and independently hydrogen atoms or the like, M<SP>+</SP>represents H<SP>+</SP>or the like, R<SP>2</SP>represents a 1-21C alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, -(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>-R<SP>5</SP>or -(C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>O)<SB>n</SB>-R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group and n represents 1-100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
