INFORMATION STORAGE DEVICE USING MAGNETIC DOMAIN WALL MOVEMENT AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

An information storage device using magnetic domain wall movement and a method of operating the same are provided to correct an error easily and improve reliability of information by using verifying method of information storage device as well as error correction code or error detection method. An information storage device using magnetic domain wall movement comprises a magnetic track(100), a verification sensor(VS), a current application unit, and a first counter(C1). The magnetic track comprises a verification region(VR) in which first and second magnetic domains(D,D0,D1) corresponding to first and second data are arranged alternately. The verification sensor is installed on one end of the verification region. The current application unit applies pulse current to the magnetic track. The first counter is connected to the verification sensor and counts the number of magnetic domains which pass through the verification sensor based on the pulse current.
