The present disclosure is related to a novel preparation method of a coating treatment for metallic abutments on dental implants for the purpose of adding aesthetic attributes to the same through a clearer appearance and greater similarity to natural teeth, which visually impacts when it is assembled into a total implant system. This is achieved through subjecting the abutment to a pre-oxidation treatment by CO2 laser obtaining a gold color tone on the surface, covered by a ceramic composition consisting of 85% of zirconia (ZrO2), 13% Al2O3 and 2% SiO2 to achieve a maximum thickness of eight micrometers. Hereinafter, the abutment is subjected to drying in a furnace for five to 120 minutes at temperatures between 50 to 100°C; finally, the abutment undergoes a sintering process at a temperature ranging from 1000 to 1400°C for a time between 10 to 100 minutes. |
