Disclosed are a method and terminal for restoring a network service, which are used for attempting to restore to a correct network service when a refusal reason value mistakenly issued is received. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: after receiving a refusal reason value sent by a first network, a terminal does not set a card as invalid, and makes multiple attempts to acquire a network service of the first network; if the network service of the first network can be acquired, then the terminal successfully restores to a correct network service; if the network service of the first network cannot be acquired within a pre-set number of times of a threshold value, then it is searched whether other available networks exist; and if other available networks are searched, then network services of the other searched available networks are acquired. |
