MASS SPECTROMETER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INJECTION OF ELECTRON BEAM THEREOF

The present invention relates to electron beam injection control of a mass spectrometer. The mass spectrometer of the present invention includes: a reference waveform generator generating a sinusoidal wave signal; a waveform generator which is inputted with the sinusoidal signal, and converts the sinusoidal wave signal into a square wave signal; an electron beam generator which controls an operation of an ultraviolet ray (UV) diode to generate an electron beam injected into an ion trap in response to an inputted control signal; and a control circuit generating the control signal using the square wave signal. The mass spectrometer of the present invention maximizes the amount of electrons injected into the ion trap by electron beam injection.
