A manhole cover (1) is shown with a supporting structure device, comprising force distribution ribs (10) for supporting a top surface (90) of the manhole cover (1), which top surface can be driven over, and a substantially centrally arranged, hollow force distribution cylinder (20), in particular circular force distribution cylinder, for supporting the force distribution ribs (10), characterized by a force distribution plate (30) for relieving the force distribution cylinder (20) of load, wherein the force distribution plate (30) substantially completely covers a lower side of the force distribution cylinder (20) in relation to the top surface (90), and wherein the force distribution ribs (10) merge continuously into the force distribution plate (30).
