A linear hall sensor position correcting device and a position correcting method thereof are disclosed. The linear hall sensor position correcting device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a linear hall sensor which outputs 3-phase output signals (U, V, W) depending on a position of a rotor of a motor, and encoder signals (A, B); and a control unit which receives the 3-phase output signals and the encoder signals from the linear hall sensor, and, when a speed of the rotor reaches a preset speed, compares a first electrical degree of the rotor, which is based on the received 3-phase output signals, with a second electrical degree of the rotor, which is based on the received encoder signals, to calculate an electrical degree error and correct the electrical degree error. |
