PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that accurately detects an abnormality in the number of rotations of a motor by reducing erroneous detection of an abnormality in the number of rotations of the motor.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for conditioning air in a room includes: a flow channel having a suction port for sucking air in the room and an air outlet for blowing out the air; a fan having an impeller provided in the flow channel for generating a flow in the flow channel and a motor for driving the impeller; control means for controlling the motor of the fan; and abnormality notification means for notifying of an abnormality of the motor. The control means executes motor abnormality determination processing for stopping the motor when the number of rotations of the motor is equal to or below the abnormality determination number of rotations, re-try processing for driving the motor again after the motor abnormality determination processing, and motor abnormality confirmation processing for confirming the abnormality of the motor and stopping the motor when the number of rotations of the motor is equal to or below the abnormality determination number of rotations again after the re-try processing, and notifying of the abnormality by the abnormality notification means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
