PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate satisfying high mechanical strength and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a glass substrate having a pair of main surfaces, a compressive stress layer formed on a surface of the glass substrate, where an outer peripheral end face of the glass substrate is formed by a molten glass surface, an outer shape of the glass substrate has at least four linear parts, a shape of each boundary part between the outer peripheral end face and a pair of main surfaces is a shape with roundness over the outer shape and there is no brush mark, and a manufacturing method therefor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
