PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity of a thermal print head.SOLUTION: A thermal print head 1 includes: a heat radiating plate 2; a head substrate 3 adhered to one surface of the heat radiating plate 2; a first ceramic plate 20 which is adhered to the one surface of the heat radiating plate 2 adjacently to the head substrate 3; a second ceramic plate 25 which is adhered to the one surface of the heat radiating plate 2 adjacently to the first ceramic plate 20 on an opposite side of the head substrate 3; a flexible substrate 27 adhered to one surface of the second ceramic plate 25; and a driving IC 6 arranged on one surface of the first ceramic plate 20. The driving IC 6 is electrically connected to the head substrate 3 via a head substrate side bonding wire 18 and is electrically connected to the flexible substrate 27 via a flexible substrate side bonding wire 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
