A storage management method and a distributed file system. The storage management method comprises: dividing all the magnetic disks of the distributed file system into a plurality of magnetic disk packets (S101); acquiring the serviceability of each magnetic disk packet, and dividing each magnetic disk packet into a healthy group set, a sub-healthy group set and a bad group set according to the serviceability of each magnetic disk packet (S102); and when data needs to be stored, selecting a magnetic disk packet from the healthy group set, and selecting a disk from the selected magnetic disk packet to store the data (S103). |
