PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for keratin fibers in the hair or the like, preferably a cosmetic composition capable of being used in a method for reforming keratin fibers by heat, capable of applying a high wave intensity to curled keratin fibers and an excellent hair conditioning effect, etc., with sufficient reforming efficiency in a relatively short time and if possible generating little or no offensive odor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition for reforming keratin fibers preferably hair, has a specific pH range, and contains at least one type of a specific active compound at 8 mass% or more with respect to the total mass of the composition. The composition of the present invention is a cosmetic composition for keratin fibers preferably hair, and is used in a method for reforming keratin fibers by heat. The method of the present invention is capable of using the composition to transform or reform keratin fibers, preferably hair, and of applying a high wave intensity to curled keratin fibers and excellent hair conditioning effects on the keratin fibers (with little damage to keratin fibers) with sufficient reforming efficiency in a relatively short time compared to prior methods which used reducing agents and oxidizing agents.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
