PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rolling resistance performance of a rubber composition for a tire without damaging its wear resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is a dry master batch obtained by dry-mixing diene rubber of 100 pts.mass and syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene with a melting point of 110°C or lower of 3 to 25 pts.mass under the application of mechanical shearing force. Also provided is a rubber composition for a tire obtained by mixing the dry master batch and silica. Also provided is a pneumatic tire provided with tread rubber composed of the rubber composition. Further, also provided is a method for producing a rubber composition for a tire including: a step of dry-mixing diene rubber of 100 pts.mass and syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene with a melting point of 110°C or lower of 3 to 25 pts.mass under mechanical shearing force to obtain a dry master batch; and a step of mixing the obtained dry master batch with silica. |
