Date Oct. 10, 1985.A curing agent for an epoxy resin comprises a cyclodextrin clathrate compound of a compound which is reactive with an epoxy group, a curing agent for an epoxy resin comprising a mixture of a cyclodextrin clathrate compound of a compound which is reactive with an epoxy group with a trace amount of amylase, and methods for the preparation of these curing agents. The curing agents are stable at room temperature, and the curing reaction is initiated under remarkably simple conditions.
