<p>A vibration preventing optical system for preventing an image blur is so supported as to be movable in directions orthogonal to the optical axis of a main optical system. Provided is a driving range regulating means for regulating a motion of this vibration preventing optical system. Provided also are driving means for controlling driving of the vibration preventing optical system on the basis of a vibration detected result by vibration detecting means. Further, there are provided driving quantity detecting means for detecting a driving quantity of the vibration preventing optical system that is given by the driving means. This vibration preventing optical system undergoes a centering process to such a position as to coincide with the optical axis of the main optical system after temporarily shifted to a regulation limit position with the aid of the driving range regulating means before effecting an exposure through the main optical system. <IMAGE></p> |
