PURPOSE:To improve efficiency for sampling lacked resources and to accelerate a sampling processing by totally sampling the journals of lacked resources inside a printer at the time of test printing, informing a host device of these journals in a batch, preserving them at every job and starting printing after performing the down load of the lacked resources by the host device based on these preserved journals at the time of printing concerning the printing control system for loading the lacked resources from the host device to the printer and printing them. CONSTITUTION:At the time of performing printing at a printer 2 and exhausting resources corresponding to a printing request from a host device 1, this character information journal (lacked resources) is repeatedly stored in a character information journal buffer 7 and when the job is completely printed, the character information journal stored in the character information journal buffer 7 is notified to the host device 1 in a batch so that the host device 1 can preserve the character information journal corresponding to the job. |
