METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING COLOR INFORMATION DATA

PURPOSE: To recover components lost by dithering of color information data. CONSTITUTION: Dither processing is applied received color data to compress the information and the result is stored in a frame buffer (12). The color data are extracted from the frame buffer and filtered to suppress noise produced by the dither processing thereby recovering loss of the lost color data.
