PURPOSE:To prepare automatically a graph in which an optimum character attribute is selected and arranged based on table data and designated graph attribute information. CONSTITUTION:A drawing picture area decision section 6 decides plural character relating drawing areas forming a graph to be prepared and a graph drawing area in which a line picture of the graph itself is drawn, then a scale preparing section 11 prepares a proper scale based on a scale area being one of the plural character relating drawing areas, the graph preparing area and table data 9-2. Then a character attribute decision section 7 decides an optimum character attribute capable of being drawn in the character relating drawing areas based on a rule deciding for each of the plural character relating drawing areas stored in a rule storage section 8 to prepare a graph automatically. The scale preparing section 11 automatically prepares an optimum scale number and scale interval based on the scale area, the graph drawn areas, tale data 11 and the relation with a standard character size or user designation size and the character attribute decision section 7 decides the optimum character attribute based on the scale number and the scale interval. |
