摘要 PURPOSE:To manage an elimination process for concentrating layer easily, at a low cost in a shorter time and in an atmospheric environment on the spot by irradiating a plate after acid cleaning or grinding with ultraviolet rays while changing energy, and measuring the intensity of photo-electrons generated by photo-electric effect. CONSTITUTION:In a process of eliminating a magnesium oxide layer generated in a surface by means of acid cleaning or grinding after an aluminum/magnesium alloy plate, for example, is cold-rolled and then finishing-annealing processed, a surface of time plate on the spot after the acid cleaning or grinding is irradiated with monochromatic ultraviolet rays and photo-electrons generated by photo-electric effect are counted in the atmosphere. Next, energy is increased by a fine quantity in the ultra-violet rays and similar operation is repeated. By comparing an intensity ratio of photo- electrons generated, at the time of energy ultraviolet ray irradiation, in two points selected from standard samples whose surface concentrating magnesium concentration is already known with an analytical curve prepared by measurement in advance, unknown surface concentrating magnesium concentration of a sample can be obtained.
