<p>PURPOSE:To provide the pen input device which facilitates operations for displaying symbols and specific words, shifting the display positions of displayed symbols and specific words, and varying their sizes as to a pen input device through which a display symbol and a display size can be indicated and inputted by the gesture of a pen. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a display screen 4 which has an input screen 3, a 1st recognizing means which detects and recognizes the position and data of drawing operation including figures and characters by the input pen 5 on the input screen 3, and a storage means which previously stores image data corresponding to the symbol that the data of the drawing operation means; and the image data corresponding to the symbol that the data of the drawing operation recognized by the 1st recognizing means means is read out by the storage means and displayed at the position of the drawing operation recognized by the 1st recognizing means on the display screen 4.</p> |
