PURPOSE:To conduct the color matching process of inks to be used for printing and ordering process by an extremely simple operation by preparing ink color matching instruction data at each printing item, and automatically preparing ordering instruction data of the inks necessary for a specific period. CONSTITUTION:A printing ink managing system 10 comprises a schedule data file 100 for storing the operating schedule data 200 of a printer, and an ink mixing data file 110 for storing ink mixing data 300 of each printing item. An ink controlling processor 50 has data reader/writer 51 for controlling the reading/writing of data in the respective films, an input/output controller 52 for controlling the input/output of the data to/form an input unit 70 and an output unit 80, an ink ordering instruction processor 55 for calculating and preparing ink ordering quantity data and outputting an ink ordering instruction, and an ink color matching instruction processor 56 for calculating ink color matching instruction data and outputting an ink color matching instruction. |
