PURPOSE: To shorten as much as possible the hanging length of sheet-shaped resin to be heat softened by clamping peripheral edges of the sheet-shaped resin and then pulling and heating the peripheral edges of the sheet-shaped resin. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 14 is contractedly operated and peripheral edges of a sheet-shaped resin W are clamped by upper and lower pawls 13, and successively the sheet-shaped resin W is transferred to a heating device through a travel truck 1, a clamping device 4 and the like. When the sheet-shaped resin W carried into the heating device is softened by heating and particularly its central section is hung down, a motor 12 is driven reversely to separate the intervals of a plurality of clamping devices 4 one another through supporting components 2, and the peripheral edges of the sheet-shaped resin W are pulled into the outside direction. Thus tension is provided to a certain degree to the sheet-shaped resin W so that the sagging of the sheet-shaped resin W generated by heating is minimized as far as possible to heat the sheet-shaped resin W. |
