PURPOSE: To provide an optical path switching device for a microscope capable of effectively using a space on the side face of the microscope and also capable of easily operating a stage handle and an optical path switching lever. CONSTITUTION: A rack 23 is installed on a linearly movable prism mount 21 with optical path switching prisms 8a to 8c mounted, and under the rack 23, a pinion 25 engaged with the rack 23 is arranged with a pulley 26 which is integrally rotated with the pinion 25. On the right side of the pulley 26, pulleys 28a and 28b are journaled so as to be independently rotated around a perpendicular shaft. Ahead of the pulleys 28a and 28b, pulleys 30 and 31 are journaled so as to be integrally rotated around a horizontal shaft. Ahead of the pulleys 30 and 31, a pulley 33 and an operation handle 34 are journaled so as to be integrally rotated around the horizontal shaft in the same way. The operation handle 34 is exposed on the side face of the microscope. A flat belt 35 is bent to be laid between the pulleys 26, 28a, 28b and 30, and a flat belt 35 is bent to be laid between the pulleys 31 and 33 respectively so as to transmit the rotation of the operation handle 34 to the pinion 25. |
