PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable emitting weak light, having a mood and a savor, and useful for a luminaire or the like by allowing the cable to luminesce on specific conditions. SOLUTION: Gas is excited by radio waves, the visible light emitted from the gas is fed through a color filter 4, or the light is directly fed, e.g. a high-frequency current is fed to a lead wire 2 from a high-frequency current generator 1 to generate radio waves, and the radio waves excite the gas in an insulator 3 containing gas-filled micro-capsules to generate visible light. This visible light is utilized through the color filter 4. A transparent conductive film and a cover film 5 are used to prevent a leak of unnecessary radio waves to the outside and the damage of this cable. |
