<p>A horn switch for a vehicle steering wheel comprises a pressure sensitive switch membrane or section of membrane arranged at a mounting point for the airbag module, e.g. between an airbag housing flange and an airbag cover flange, both of which co-operate to mount the cover to the module. A plastic toothed retainer ring for snap-fastening of the airbag to the housing is also provided. Such a switch is very sensitive, does not need a backing plate and is light, easy to install and reliable.</p> |
