MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS USE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the alteration of the recording information of a magnetic recording medium, such as magnetic card, difficult and to facilitate the recording of the hardly alterable information. SOLUTION: A method of using the magnetic recording medium having irreversible recording layers 4 irreversibly changed in saturation magnetization by heating in at least part on a substrate 2, in which initially heated regions arrayed with plural heating bars 41 irreversibly changed in saturation magnetization like bar codes are previously formed on these irreversible recording layers 4 by previously subjecting the layers to heating. The arraying patterns of these heating bars 41 are changed by putting the non-heating bars 42 existing between the heating bars 41 into a heated state, by which information recording is executed.
