The arrangement consists of at least one dispersive element (DP) for wavelength separation of the illuminating light and at least one partially reflective element arranged in the wavelength-separated part of the illuminating light for reflecting back at least one wavelength region towards the microscope illumination arrangement. Independent claims are also included for the application of the arrangement in confocal, laser scanning and confocal fluorescence microscopes.
