The invention relates to a method for measuring the chamber wall temperature in coking plants, according to which the temperature of a number of point-shaped areas of each chamber wall are optically recorded at least along two interspaced level lines. Vertical sections (7, 8) passing through the level lines are placed in a narrow grid, and the picked up temperature values are drawn upon for determining adjacent temperature values by using a mathematical process. The temperature values resulting between every two adjacent vertical sections of both level lines span an area inside of which additional temperature points are determined. |
