PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for manufacturing a lampshade for a ceiling lamp is provided to reduce product defect and material waste by simplifying a process and reduce process time. CONSTITUTION: A sheet material is pressed by a forming apparatus(1) and a press(F) to form an outer mold of a lampshade for a ceiling lamp. The outer mold is pressed by a trimming apparatus(2) and a press(F) to form a number of installation holes(P) for receiving lines and sockets to be connected in the upper surface and cut inuniform margins. The outer mold with the installation holes are pressed by a bending apparatus(3) and a press to form a reinforcing rim(8) around the lower margin of the outer mold. The bent outer mold is punched by a punching apparatus(4) to form a number of punching holes(P') for receiving lines and sockets to be connected to right and left sides of the outer mold. The lampshade for a ceiling lamp is manufactured from the outer mold, and includes an installation plate, protection plates and the reinforcing rim(8) which are integrally formed. |
