<p>PURPOSE: A treatment equipment of sewage using permeable-porous media is provided to decompose sewage or excretions by microorganisms of the permeable-porous media having specific surface area of 38000 m2/m3. Generally, oxygen is not supplied sufficiently into the middle of media, so permeable-porous media of the invention has many air holes for sufficient supply of oxygen. And, the permeable-porous media is shaped like sponge to maximize adsorption of organic materials. Also, the permeable-porous media has cubic volume of 8cm¬3 to prevent discharge of sludge. CONSTITUTION: The shown equipment consists of a grit chamber (1) installed wall (13) having an air hole (14); a flowequalization reservoir (2) installed a diffuser (21) and wall (26); an aeration tank (3) packed with the permeable-porous media (39), and installed a diffuser (31); an anoxic tank (4) installed wall (47) having an air hole (48); an aeration tank (5) packed with the permeable-porous media (58), and installed a diffuser (51); and a sedimentation tank (6) installed a filter (69).</p> |
