PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nameplate having multiple functions capable of displaying a name, messages to a visitor, etc., on an LCD display part. SOLUTION: The nameplate which has the LCD display part for displaying the display data, such as the name and messages on a screen and a key operation part to select and determine the display data, an LCD controller which controls the LCD display part of this nameplate and a CPU which controls the LCD controller are provided. The CPU has the function to form the display data on the LCD display part, the function to display the command from the key operation part for selecting and determining the display data on the LCD display part by means of the LCD controller, the function to store the display data and the timer function to control the entire part. The CPU forms the display message and displays the same on the LCD display part by a personal CPU connecting the outside. Accordingly, the input and display of the name, messages, etc., as the display data on the LCD display part is made possible by the simple operation from the key operation part.
