PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of displaying an exposure control set value which can be accurately recognized by a user without causing any erroneous recognition. SOLUTION: The image pickup device 100 is provided with a display part 54 including an LCD 221(222) capable of displaying an exposure correction display per unit display of 1/2 step and provided with a fixed picture pattern, and an image display part 28 constituted of an active matrix liquid crystal display, and by using the fixed picture pattern of the LCD 221(222), the exposure correction display showing an exposure correction value, the set value of an automatic exposure shifting function, a strobe light adjusting/correcting value and the set value of an automatic strobe light adjusting/shifting function is displayed, and also, an exposure correction display scale which can be displayed per unit of 1/2 step or 1/3 step is displayed on the image display part 28, and by using the exposure correction display scale, the exposure correction value, the set value of the automatic exposure shifting function, the strobe light adjusting/correcting value and the set value of the automatic strobe light adjusting/shifting function are accurately displayed.
