PURPOSE: A device for opening and closing a vehicle door is provided to open and close a vehicle door using voice recognition and fingerprint recognition by using the driving power of a motor and to reduce the number of components by excluding such separate devices as a locking system and a child lock. CONSTITUTION: A motor(11) is installed in an actuator body(1). A pinion(13) is connected with the motor in the actuator. An actuator rod(7) linearly moves by the bolts and nuts engaged with the pinion. A pole(6) linked with the actuator rod rotates to unlock a latch(4). The latch is separated from a striker fixed on a vehicle, and a vehicle door is opened. Since the latch is electrically operated by the driving power of the motor. Therefore, cost reduction and door opening and closing by voice or fingerprint recognition are realized.
