Operating element (10) is movably connected to stapling element (1) and anvil element (16), such that inertia of element (10) against movement relative to element (1) is greater than that of movement relative to element (16). A staple driver (8) is reciprocatingly provided in the element (1). The elements (16,1) are moved relatively in same path by reversible electric motors (19,23,26,27,29,30,32). The stapler comprises anvil (18) for clinching drive staples. The stapling element and anvil element (16) are fixedly arranged in stapler. The operating element moves back and forth relative to the stapling element. The anvil element and stapling element are moved by reversible electric motor from the starting position to the working position and operating element is subsequently moved to move the driver (8) along the driving direction. The driving units are reversed, the anvil element and stapling element are moved back to starting position and operating element moves the driver opposite to the driving direction. The driving units are reversed when operating element cannot move driver further along the driving direction and along direction opposite to drive-in direction. |
