<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device which prevents the cause of a personal injury caused by catching of passenger feet and falling of passengers between a vehicle and a platform due to being pushed out from a passage, which is crowded with passengers when they get on and off, and eliminating and flying of children out of the passage and makes old persons and physically handicapped persons free from danger even if handrails are not provided for getting on and off. SOLUTION: This accident avoidance fence is provided with a link mechanism comprising a platform guide and a rod, which are supported pivotally on a door and a door container respectively on the railway side of a platform door device. The shape of the platform guide is of a fence or block plate preventing a person from passing.</p> |
