PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining sheet which prevents wear of a punching die and electrical conductivity of the lining sheet, in an opaque polymer lining sheet suitable for an optical identification system to be guided by an edge of a web to convert and replenish an adhesive member formed by punching. SOLUTION: A protective material includes a member formed by punching obtainable in a conversion process to produce the member formed by punching having adhesive properties in one face or both faces. An upper face of the protective material is provided with one-sided or double-sided adhesive tape obtained by punching the member formed by punching with a punching tool, or particularly by a kiss-cutting method. The protective material includes the lining sheet of a colored polymer lining type substantially having an upper face or a bottom face, and an inside of the lining sheet is colored by a coloring agent which does not cause wear to the punching tool, or the lining sheet in the protective material is a polymer lining substantially having the upper face and the bottom face, and a coloring layer is applied on the upper face or the bottom face of the polymer lining. |
