<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods respectively suitable for, for instance, black-and-white images and color images to a user at the time of performing image forming by an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having an image forming part to form an image on paper based on an image data, a controlling means to control the operation of the image forming apparatus and an operation means which the user operates and inputs, the image forming part is provided with at least two kinds of image forming modes such as for the image forming of the black-and-white images and for the image forming of full color images, and the controlling means has a parameter selecting means using selected parameter when the user selects specified parameter by the operation means and using default parameter previously decided for each image forming mode in another cases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
