ENGINE STARTING SWITCH AND PORTABLE MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine starting switch and portable machine capable of certainly making a driver perform an operation when a smart ignition function is invalid.

SOLUTION: A guide part 43 corresponding to the outline shape of the tip 10b of the portable machine 2 is exposed and formed on an operated portion 42 of an engine starting switch 40. In other words, the engine starting switch 40 is constituted to promote an pressing operation to the operated portion 42 while the tip 10b of the portable machine 2 is corresponded to the guide part 43. Therefore, the driver can see at a glance that the pressing operation is simply required when the smart ignition function is invalid. Therefore, the driver can be made to certainly perform the operation in such a case.
