PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring material having high conductivity, capable of coping with a large capacity of a secondary battery, superior in resistance welding property, and to provide a battery pack using it. SOLUTION: This is the wiring materials and the battery pack wherein Cu strip 2 or composite strip material 4 composed of Cu alloy strip and cupronickel strip 3 is formed, and both faces of composite strip materials 4 are partly covered by insulators 7, 7 so that exposed part 5 of the cupronickel is formed at that composite strip materials 4.
