PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information terminal intelligibly displaying a traffic jam situation in a traveling front direction of one's vehicle without providing a beacon receiver. SOLUTION: When one's vehicle passes a set point (step S1), a range of a summarized map in a predetermined range in the traveling front direction of one's vehicle is set (step S3), the summarized map is prepared (step S4), a congestion degree distance included in already received VICS level three information is converted to match the prepared summarized map (step S5), and the traffic jam situation is superposed on the summarized map (step S6) and displayed on a display monitor (step S7).
