<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of sterilizing a biocompatible material, capable of inhibiting degradation and deterioration of the material in a radiation-sterilizing process. <P>SOLUTION: The method of sterilizing the biocompatible material is characterized by wrapping the biocompatible material with a deoxidation agent and an air-impermeable package material and sterilizing the material with radiation. The degradation and deterioration of the material is inhibited in the radiation-sterilizing process.
