PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide operation control technology for a floor heating system, presenting a comfortable sleeping environment in the night in winter. SOLUTION: The system is continuously operated in a normal mode (room temperature setting T1) before going to bed (step S101). A sleep mode operation is started by user's selection of a sleep mode by a controller 7 or setting a timer. That is, as the first stage, the system enters the operation off-state (step S103), and this state continues for time t1 (step S104). After the lapse of time t1 or more, the operation is restarted. In this case, the room temperature setting is T2 (T2<T1) (step S105). In this state, the operation is continued. In the meantime, a difference between the wake-up scheduled timeτ4 and the current timeτis computed (step S106). When the difference between them is equal to or less than two hours (YES in step S106), the sleep mode is ended to return to the normal mode (room temperature setting T1).
